I feel a big problem in the UK (and increasingly so around the world) is that people think democracy is like football matches: there’s a vote (=game) and then there’s an outcome and the “losers” have to bite the bullet while the “winners” can hush everyone around from their high horses citing “it was democracy”. People need to understand that democracy is not about winning and losing. It’s not even about voting! Democracy is about *discussing*, having a healthy, informed debate and then finding the best solution for the majority of the people TOGETHER.

I feel, now that the public have had an actual discussion and most certainly more information than in 2016, a second referendum makes sense.

However that’s merely my opinion as an external observer. And as a Swiss I try to stay neutral. 🤣
